Lemon rice
Ingredients:
Cooked rice - 2 cups
Juice of 3 lemons[big]
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
Channa dal - 1 tbsp
Peanut - 2 tbsp
Curry leaves - few
Hing - pinch
Turmeric powder - 1tsp
Salt - as required
Method:
Add oil to pan, add mustard seeds.
When it flutters, add urad dal, channa dal, peanuts and simmer the flame.
Fry it for sometime, take care not to burn.

Capsicum rice
Ingredients:
Basmathi rice - 1/2 cup
Capsicum - 1/2 cup, coloured
Cloves - 2
Cinnamon - 1/2 inch
Grind to paste:
Garlic - 7 cloves
Cashew - 5 whole
Pepper - 1/2 tsp

Method:
Soak the rice for 20 minutes.
Grind the ingredients listed in "Grind to paste".

Ragi puttu

Ingredients:
Ragi Flour - 2 cups
Jaggery powder - 1/2 cup
Coconut grated - 1/4 cup
Dry ginger powder - 1/2 tsp
Cardamom powder - pinch
Method:
Dry roast ragi flour until nice aroma comes.
Cool down the flour, now add water little by little and mix properly.
We should make as a ball but when we break it should break down.
Now whisk this in a mixie twice.
Tie in a cloth and steam...

Rice flour muffins

Ingredients:
Rice flour - 2 cups
Baking soda - 1/4 tsp
Baking powder - 1.5 tsp
salt - pinch
sugar - 3/4 cup
Egg - 2 large
Oil - 1.5 tbsp

Varagu upma kozhukatai
Ingredients:
Varagu[kodo millet] - 1 cup
Moong dal - 2 tbsp
Whole pepper - 1 tsp
Jeera - 1 tsp
Grated Coconut - 2 tbsp
Temper:
Mustard seeds - 2 tsp
Urad dal - 1 tsp
Hing - pinch
Curry leaves - few

Foxtail Millet Honey balls
Ingredients:
Foxtail millet - 3/4 cup
Grated jaggery -1/2 cup
Honey - 2 tbsp
cardamom powder - pinch
Ghee - as needed
Method:
Dry roast foxtail millet until aroma comes. Cool down and grind it coarsely.
Now in a bowl, add grounded millet, jaggery, honey, cardamom powder.
